Every year NASA hosts a robotics competition where University students design, build and compete with robotic excavators. The NASA Robotic Mining Competition spreads awareness of the potential for space mining while encouraging innovative concepts to achieve the goal.
With this game you can share in the experience from the comfort of your own home: test your bot on the beach, partake in the competition, and maybe even see your rover launched to space and learn how mining can benefit space missions.
