Backgammon, other common name of the game: backgammon (fr trictrac.), Bekgemmon (English backgammon.), Tavla (tour tavla; (lat «tabula») - «game board.".) Shesh-Besh, Kosha - desktop game for two. The game is played on a special board, divided into two playing fields.
The goal - to move all your checkers into your home, and then remove them from the board. The first player who has removed all his checkers wins the game. The player has to go through all the checkers full circle (counterclockwise), enter them into the "house" and "throw" them before it will make the opponent by throwing the dice and moving the checkers in accordance with dropped points. There are two main varieties - long and short backgammon.
