How to get the Hunt Mega Token in Hell’s Kitchen

Author: Unknown Author Update Time: 2025-03-19

The 12th Mega Token is available to collect inside the Hell's Kitchen experience. This is a pretty challenging one because it includes an obby as well as cooking Gordon's favorite recipe. If you are looking for a simple guide to get yourself a Mega Token in Hell's Kitchen, keep reading until the end.

The Hunt Hell's Kitchen Mega Token Guide

As usual, you have to collect all the previous 11 Mega Tokens in the ongoing Hunt to be eligible to get the 12th Token. If you have not yet progressed till the 11th, I recommend reading the following guides for each experience before moving ahead.

  1. SpongeBob TD
  2. Unlimited Tag Game
  3. Pressure
  4. Chained 2 Player Obby
  5. Rivals
  6. Clip It
  7. World Zero
  8. A Dusty Trip
  9. Infection Gunfight
  10. Basketball Legends
  11. Metro Life City RP

To begin, you need to start off a round. Once you load into the kitchen, turn around to see the dining area and a set of lights on the ceiling. Take a screenshot of this light pattern, as it will be required later to progress further in the quest.

Exit the game mode and return to the lobby. Go to the right of the Hunt Mega Edition Quest portal to find a basement door before the H|K symbol. After entering, you will find several monitors with lights. Replicate the same light pattern as shown earlier on the monitor screen by toggling the lights. If you do this correctly, you will open a vault on the left side of the room.

Enter the room and complete the small Obby, which requires you to jump off various platforms only to return to the original room with monitors. But now you will have a new quest that revolves around finding four scraps of recipes across the map. I have listed all the locations below.

  • Recipe Location 1: The first one is in the main lobby area. Here, go behind the H|K in the lava area to find a piece of recipe near the mountain terrain.
  • Recipe Location 2: For the next one, teleport to the Hunt quest area. Before loading into the main cooking game, you will be taken to the blue/red intermission room. Here, go to the first floor to find a recipe near the lounges.
  • Recipe Location 3: This one is inside the main cooking area. Once a match begins, go to the wall partition that divides both teams to find a recipe piece right at the center.
  • Recipe Location 4: The final note is behind a live counter table in the main dining area. Serve your first food during a round to access this area and collect the final piece.

The next stage revolves around cooking the dish found in the recipe for a Food Critic. He will arrive in a special cutscene if you have all four recipes and reach the second stage of cooking. So, hop on to a match and keep playing until you reach stage 2.

During the round, simply follow the recipe to make a proper Beef Wellington and get a score above 130 to impress the Food Critic. If you cannot score a minimum of 130, you have to join the match again and redo the dish. While making Beef Wellington is easy, you will make mistakes at the Oven station. Here, I suggest you take the food out of the Oven as soon as the bar starts shaking to avoid overcooking.

Once you have gotten a score above 130 and impressed the judge, you can return to the basement. Here, in the garage room, you will find another recipe note; simply pick it up. Immediately, you will notice the door behind you completely closed. Now, climb the right shelf in the room to find a fuse box. Break it to get yourself free from the room, and get the Mega Token badge at the end.
