It's really easy to get Scooting:
1. Download the Scoot app for Android here
2. Create an account and sign up for your first ride
3. Unlock the Scoot with the app and you're free to ride all over town, whenever you want!
Scoot rides start at $4, one-way anywhere in SF. Reserve a Scoot using the app and activate it with your Android device. The Scoot app also serves as your GPS and dashboard while you ride. At the end of your ride you can park for free in any one of our over 50+ charging locations, or on the street within the Scoot service area.
No motorcycle license needed. Helmet included. Accident liability coverage provided.
Our fleet of electric Scoots have 20 miles of battery and go 30 MPH with enough power to handle San Francisco hills. All Scoots are professionally serviced regularly are there are hundreds of Scoots across the city, you can pick them up on the street or at a charging location.
Scoot Terms of Membership:
You must create an account and complete training (video or in-person) to use Scoot
You must be 21 years or older, have a clean and valid US driver's license
No passengers allowed on Scoots
Travel is limited to the city of San Francisco.
