By scanning the code you can retrieve information about where the product comes from, how it was processed, quality and sustainability information, and even recipe ideas. Currently we have various fish and meat products in our traceability solution for you to explore; many more will follow.

You can find the code on the packaging of pre-packed products. For fresh products, the code will be printed on the label after the weighing process. Alternatively, you can retrieve information by entering the GTIN and LOT number from your invoice under ‘Numeric Input’ or on the website www.metro.de/protrace.
